Film summary: Nearing the end of a divorce litigation, a tired and self-pitying Beatrice finds it difficult to manage her time between her personal life, professional life and her volunteer work as a musical therapist for terminally ill hospital patients. Her struggle with the one-sided nature of her marital crisis leads her to despondency and self-absorption. In a malaise she struggles with her day-to-day responsibilities. Late to her scheduled appointment, her volunteer work forces her to confront the issues of her own finite time, personal agency and the process of moving on.
